"Bethany has an incredible eye and somehow managed to catch every perfect moment and detail, all while making me feel calm, excited, and totally myself.  I wanted my photos to feel vintage, carefree, and candid—and they turned out even better than I imagined.

If you’re thinking about hiring her, do it. Truly one of the best decisions I made for the entire wedding." -- E.K.

Yes. I offer digital and hybrid wedding photography collections. Film only wedding photography packages are available upon request.

Do you shoot film for weddings?

While I am based in Memphis, Tennessee,  I photograph destination weddings and elopements throughout the U.S. and internationally. I have over 6 years of experience traveling for weddings.

Where are you based, and do you
travel for weddings?

Yes, at certain points with intention. I offer gentle guidance during portraits and transitional moments while allowing space for movement and interaction so images feel relaxed, natural, and unforced.

Do you pose couples during weddings?

All of my wedding collections include an online gallery with a customized store, 1 year of online gallery hosting, printing rights, and timeline assistance. On average, you can expect around 50 photos per hour of coverage. Gallery turnarounds vary between 6-10 weeks depending upon the season.

What do your wedding collections include?

Yes. I regularly photograph multi-day celebrations including welcome events, rehearsal dinners, and farewell gatherings. These additional days often hold some of the most meaningful moments and allow me to truly capture the essence of your celebration.

Do you photograph multi-day wedding celebrations?

Absolutely. I offer special collections for elopements and weddings with 10 or less guests. Ask me about this when inquiring.

Do you photograph elopements and intimate weddings?

Yes. I require 30% down as a retainer to hold your date. The rest can be arranged however works best for you, with everything due one month before the wedding. Typically, my couples opt for monthly installments.

Do you offer payment plans?

Documentary wedding photography is centered on observing rather than directing. Instead of relying on posed images or rigid shot lists, it focuses on real moments, natural interaction, and the emotional rhythm of the day as it unfolds. The result is imagery that feels lived-in and honest, reflecting how the day actually felt rather than recreating it.

What is documentary wedding photography, and how is it different from traditional wedding photography?

Most couples book 9 to 15 months in advance, particularly for peak seasons and destination weddings. Reaching out early allows for thoughtful planning and availability.

How far in advance should we book a wedding photographer?

Absolutely. A wedding planner takes the stress off of everyone’s shoulders and ensures your day runs smoothly. In the very least, I recommend hiring a day of coordinator to keep everyone on schedule, guiding the day and timeline along, and ensuring set up and coordination of the vendors happens as it should. Let’s face it…you really don’t want the caterer showing up and asking you where they should set the cake while you’re doing your bridal portraits. That’s all stuff a planner/coordinator will handle without you even having to ask.

Please note that I cannot properly do my job of documenting and creating art preserving your day if I am focused on coordinating timelines, tracking down rogue groomsmen, or finding Uncle Tom for family photos.
